Privacy Policy
FaithVoice is designed to help you spend meaningful time with Scripture without advertising or cross-app tracking.
Using FaithVoice Without an Account
You can continue without creating an account. Guest study data stays on your device unless you choose a feature that sends information to a FaithVoice service. Signing in is optional and enables account-backed features and account-deletion controls.
Information Stored on Your Device
FaithVoice stores notes, highlights, prayers, reading and plan progress, quiz progress, daily verse state, narration and reader preferences, personalization settings, widget data, and some cached content or audio metadata on your device.
Account and Service Data
If you sign in, FaithVoice may store your name, email address, provider or user identifier, profile fields, session records, authentication metadata, profile statistics, and related service records through Convex. Account data is used for app functionality, security, support, and account deletion.
Personal and Sensitive Content
Prayers, notes, highlights, support messages, profile details, and personal Moments may contain information you consider sensitive. Personal Moments are stored locally and may be shared only when you choose the iOS share sheet. FaithVoice 1.0 does not provide a public feed, comments, direct messages, follows, reactions, or creator monetization.
Location and Product Interaction
FaithVoice may request precise location only when you choose an optional location-based feature. FaithVoice does not link precise location to your identity for advertising or tracking. Product-interaction information may be used to operate features, diagnose problems, and improve app functionality.
Audio, AI, and Narration
Some catalog-backed audio features may require network access. When available, FaithVoice can use an on-device Apple system model for assisted study responses; otherwise it uses local Scripture-grounded behavior. FaithVoice does not use your prayers, notes, highlights, profile data, or personal Moments to train a third-party model. Generated study content can be incomplete or inaccurate and should be checked against Scripture and trusted pastoral teaching.
iCloud Settings Backup
If you enable iCloud Settings Backup, FaithVoice backs up selected profile and study preferences through the Apple account configured on your device. This backup is separate from FaithVoice account data and should not contain FaithVoice authentication tokens.
Customer Support
If you contact support, FaithVoice receives the information you choose to include, such as your email address and problem description. Support information is used to respond to your request, diagnose the issue, protect the service, and keep necessary support or audit records.
Advertising, Tracking, and Payments
FaithVoice does not sell personal data or display third-party advertising. FaithVoice does not use cross-app tracking. FaithVoice 1.0 does not offer a paid subscription or in-app purchase.
Retention and Deletion
Deleting the app removes app-local data from that device, subject to iOS backups and any iCloud settings backup you enabled. Signed-in users can request account deletion at More > Account > Settings > Privacy & Account > Delete Account Data on iPhone, or Account > Settings > Privacy & Account > Delete Account Data on iPad. Some records may be retained where needed to operate the service, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, maintain audit integrity, or meet legal obligations.
